ScreenToGif– great tool for gif however saving as video format consumes a lot of disk (small captures take up to 3. GB) and comes on portable version. Requires .Net 4.8 (web download when you run the tool for the first time and restarts after it’s installed).

Recordit – light tool and requires .Net 2.x 3.x (auto install or manual download)
