One of the coolest features released no Teams it’s the Custom Background images. You just need to upload your preferred pictures to its Default location
Default location (copy with “” and paste at Windows + run)
“C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Uploads”
WARNING: if you uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Teams for any reason the folder content is gone. Please backup your background picture before uninstalling.
Start your meeting
- you can test it solo
- go to Teams \ Calendar
- select Meet now
when the meeting has started go to more options “…” and select show background effects
Then you can see the Default background settings such as none, blur and some default picutres

Scroll down to see the pictures you uploaded
- my family picture
- windows backgrounds
- silverhawks 0/
- thundercats 0/ and so on….
- feel free to upload nice and great background pictures then select preview (check the output before you activate it) or apply and turn on
- video

apply and turn on video output (on the main screen)

REMINDER: This feature is not available on the web client
